Defending Houses of Worship
and
Continued Education

Education and Information is the core foundation of our sucess

Training and information  programs generate greater value for ministries when the curricula reflect key occupational performance metrics. Testing real-world outcomes is crucial.

Challenge

Houses of worship have been targets of violent attacks since time immemorialEvil — be it in the guise of a simple misanthrope who can’t stand to see anyone happier than he or a misguided zealot who believes his attack is in service to his god — will target good. Evil will target many churches, synagogues, Mosques and it is our duty to stay as ready as we can be to defend our congregations, our loved ones and ourselves.

Purpose

The purpose of church staff information and training is fundamental to the theology of stewardship in ministry. A well-trained staff member enables ministry to thrive with the efficient use of great technological tools for ministry. Information management is a ministry tool. Done well, training enhances the ability of the church to do ministry and fulfill its mission. Learning is a key to continued viability in the face of changing technology, society, and ministry.
Value
Being able to articulate a list of values defines the nature of a church culture. Not only do values help define our church’s voice to your community, but they are a crucial part of the overall church strategy. Identifying and expressing those things help define our approach, become a key factor in who our church will reach, and will help our church better understand the overall purpose of our ministry.
Bylaws: Reading & Understaning
Bylaws, also spelled as "bylaws," are the rules a corporation or church sets. They are established by the board of directors in this case church trustees during the time the church is being formed. This process is called incorporation, and one of the first tasks of this new corporation or church will be to form church bylaws.

Written bylaws tell organizations or church’s how to handle any new issues or situations that might arise. Having bylaws in place will save time that would've been spent on trying to work out complications within the church. It will also help keep things running smoothly and define goals or missions.

Bylaws will define things like the churches’ purpose, official name, officers' titles and responsibilities, requirements for membership, how the officers will be assigned, how meetings will be conducted, and how often these meetings will be held.

Bylaws will dictate the way the group functions in addition to what the roles and responsibilities of the officers will be. They help lay out an organization map, so everyone will know what the purpose and the daily operations are.
