Caroline Allen Ross is the youngest daughter of the late George Washington Allen and Dorothy Dawson. She was baptized at age 11 and received her Christian Training and Education at the Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church in Birmingham Alabama under the leadership of Pastor W.B. Bradley, where she was a member of the youth choir, The Shepherd Girls and Boys Auxiliary and member of the Sunday School. Minister Ross attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville Alabama where she received her bachelor’s in Psychology and Biology and her Masters In Psychology with a concentration in clinical psychology. Minister Ross has worked as a Alabama Licensed Counselor for over 37 years in various positions in Birmingham, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville Alabama. Presently Minister Ross has been blessed to be in private practice since 2017 at Garrett Counseling in Jacksonville Alabama where she counsels and ministers to adults and children across Northeast Alabama.

 

Minister Ross has been married to Deacon Willie L. Ross for 36 years and they have 2 sons Jonathan Ross and Courtland Tyler Ross and 2 beautiful grandchildren Ashthan Ross and London Ross.

 

Minister Ross has been a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church for 35 years and has served in numerous positions but primarily as a Primary Sunday School Teacher, Youth Director and for the past 21 years as the church’s Sunday School Superintendent and Women's’ Sunday School Class where the Sunday School has experienced growth in membership and in its finances.

 

Minister Ross was called to the ministry by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in August of 1996 and preached her first sermon three years later entitled “It Is Not About You”! Minister Ross presently serves as minister for the Fire House Ministry for New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor TC Croom and it serves youth ages 16 to 19 years of age. Minister’s Ross’s focus in ministry has been to preach, teach and minister the Word of God boldly with God’s leading.
